The Spell-A-Thon is the Spring fundraiser we are doing instead
of selling products. Your participation at any level helps support transportation for field trips, playground toys, school assemblies and other “extras” our children get that aren’t always available
in other schools. Thank you for helping support our students and our school!
Spell-A-Thon Timeline
April 7: Pledge sheets are due to school.
April 12 – 23: Students take their word tests. All students will participate
in test
taking, even if they don’t participate
in the
Spell-A-Thon. Please support their hard work by helping them to ask for pledges. Teachers will split the words among multiple tests as needed and based upon their students’ abilities. All testing will be completed by April 23.
Monday, April 26: Your child will bring home their pledge sheet and their scored test.
Attached to their pledge sheet will be an envelope labeled with their name, teacher, and total pledges to be collected. Pledge amounts will already be calculated and recorded on the front
of the pledge sheet for those sponsors that pledged per word. Flat amount pledges will be the same no matter how many words are correct.
Monday, May 3: All pledges are due back to the school. Checks should be made payable to Bloomer PIE.
The TOP THREE CLASSROOMS
of the school will be receiving an ICE CREAM SUNDAE PARTY. Any student collecting at least one pledge will receive a treat. Any student earning 100% on their test will receive a certificate.
